- Contribute to the recruitment of increased numbers of full-time undergraduate students, and postgraduate students on taught and research programmes.
- Represent NMUC autonomously, locally and overseas, as when required. Receive, process, and respond to all application from oversea for programmes offered by NMUC.
- Build a good relationship with Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) personnel at all time.
- Process, submit and respond to all requirements on visa application made through the EMGS online portal and the Malaysian Immigration Department.
- In-charge all the process involve upon the arrival of international student, including to obtain medical check-up report..
- Ensure the student visa is valid at all time and manage the process involved upon deferment, withdrawal, and graduation of international student.
- Monitor and fulfil all statutory requirements on international student management. Liaise with respective authority (ies) on international student issues.
- Maintain good contact and relationship with all international students.
- Submit quarterly report (Laporan Sukuan) to Jabatan Pendidikan Tinggi, Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM).
- Responsible for hospitality management of international students, in accordance with the NMUC requirement.
- Provide a comprehensive information database on international students to the institution.
- Acknowledge the respective country embassy / high commission, on each semester, pertaining to the registration of international students.
- Maintain good relationships and obtain a periodical update from other department within NMUC in which their service is also provided to international student.
- Ensure the information in the International Student Handbook is accurate and updated at all time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess minimum a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in related fields.
- Possess a minimum of 3 year of relevant working experience in an institution of higher learning;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to work under pressure and practice a flexible teaching style
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
