- Developing and implementing new methods/technology of teaching to reflect changes in research.
- Designing, preparing and developing teaching materials.
- Delivering lectures, seminars and tutorials.
- Assessing students’ coursework.
- Setting, invigilate and marking examinations.
- Supporting students through a pastoral/advisory role.
- Undertaking personal research projects and actively contributing to the Institution’s research profile.
- Writing up research and preparing it for publication.
- Supervising students research activities and internship.
- Undertaking Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and participating in staff training activities.
- Undertaking administrative task related to the department, such as students’ admission induction program, involvement in committees and boards and graduation ceremonies.
- Managing and supervising staffs.
- Representing the Institution of professional conferences and seminars, and contributing to these as necessary.
- Establishing collaborative links outside Institution with industrial, commercial and public organization.
- Participate and assists sales and marketing department in education fairs, road shows and other marketing activities.
- To conduct all relevant consultancy and training of courses/programs and other related tasks for our clients anywhere in the world.
- To develop, coordinate and market all the maritime and other related programs as determined by the Organization.
- Undertake other relevant task/duties/responsibilities directed by the Management from time to time.
